Cannabis worth €610k seized at Dublin Airport

Cannabis was found in a passengers luggage


Revenue customs officers have seized cannabis worth around €610,000 at
Dublin Airport.

The drugs were discovered when officers stopped and searched the
luggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight from Frankfurt,
Germany.

A man in his 30s was arrested and taken to a Dublin Garda Station where
he is being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug
Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Investigations are ongoing, Revenue said.
