# Half-baking For this gournal, I thought I would write up some un-implemented ideas that I come up with from time to time. I feel like I get a lot of ideas. Most of them are pretty useless, but they still bounce around in my head for a while before my brain moves on to something else. Sometimes I take some time to work on them, but even if I start to turn an idea into a project, I rarely seem to finish it. As soon as implementation becomes difficult, I usually lose interest. So for now, I thought I would write up some of these ideas as I'm thinking about them. Once I run out of steam, I'll post a file with whatever notes I have. Maybe I'll revisit some of these eventually. I suspect I can post three or four of these a year. I look forward to seeing what happens. emptyhallway 2020-10-27 => no-fail-scripting-language-r2.gmi 2023-12-13 A second attempt at a "can't fail" scripting language => conlang-counting-system.gmi 2023-10-03 A toki pona-inspired number system => alternative-election-primaries.gmi 2023-07-02 An alternative to election primaries => worker-owned-cooperative.gmi 2023-06-01 A worker-owned cooperative => hyper-local-authentication.gmi 2022-10-30 Hyper-local authentication idea => unidecode-font.gmi 2022-08-19 Unidecode in a font => anthill-solitaire-game.gmi 2022-05-07 Anthill: A solitaire card game => rubric-resource-redistribution.gmi 2021-12-01 A rubric for resource redistribution => grid-systems-2.gmi 2021-10-31 Grid systems part 2: Alternative hierarchies => grid-systems-1.gmi 2021-08-27 Grid systems part 1: Rectangular explorations from H3 => utf8-as-memory-unit.gmi 2021-05-28 Thinking about UTF-8-like code points as the basic memory units of a low-level programming language => wisp-markup.gmi 2020-12-20 Wisp: a markup language concieved to fill a space somewhere between gemtext and markdown => table-tennis-digital-game.gmi 2020-11-17 A digital game idea about playing table tennis => no-fail-scripting-language.gmi 2020-11-01 A "can't fail" scripting language
