# Against advice

This week, I've been editing a speech. I decided to remove 100% of the content that sounded like advice.

I'm hesitant to say anything resembling advice because I don't want to sound condescending. I've decided to instead use merley descriptions of the world. My end goal is something that's motivating and obvious in hindsight, but original to a listener hearing the speech for the first time.

Oh well. Hopefully time alone can help me get my act together.
