# Write up of log specific posting conventions.

## Terms
* membertag: The reference for a particular member of the collective. Always appears in parentheses: (b1)
* infotag: Date with leading zeros and dashes in Month-Day-Year followed by contributor identifier in parentheses: 03-10-2023 (b1) An infotag MAY include a timestamp before membertag in as hour:minute using  AM or PM to denote time of day.

## Format:
Title at the top starting with hash/n
Infotag /n 
Body of text separated by sub headings notated in gemtext with additional hashes.
/n/n/n Footer which links to "The Stack" as well as our "About Us" page. (May make about page first before the link to The Stack)

## Additional Rules:
Mostly avoid punctuations in title. (Main exception being question marks)
Respect capitalization rules in title. 

Edit notes go after the header an infotag followed by the note. (No newline) However if it makes sense to embed the note in a specific part of the post write Note then the membertag and then a colon: Note (b1): The remaining text of the note should immediately follow.
