I want to thank Sloum for setting up this space (ie gemlog blue). It was 
the easiest way I could find to get text out to our smol Web. Any community
that is interested in growing needs an easy entry point for noobs, and 
gemlog blue has been perfect for that.  

On the other hand, I've never paid Sloum, but I have paid memberships dues
to SDF, and I plan on continuing to make donations into the future.  That 
and the increased ease and reliability I have experienced with SDF since I 
use Linux Mint has further moved the scales toward gopher through mkgopher 
on SDF. I also want to do more things where I modify the view people get of 
the gopherhole and make nested directories.
