After a run of solid albums, Fifth Dimension just feels bland. Vaguely psychedelic late 60s rock that I'm sure has influenced other albums and probably even things I like and care about. Track 5, "What's Happening" was probably the highlight here, while classic-rock staple Eight Miles High never really did it for me as a single and doesn't fare much better on home turf.

This is the second Byrds record that has come up, and apparently there are 3 more on the list. For Younger than Yesterday (⭐⭐), the Apple Music intro starts:

> If Fifth Dimension is The Byrd's Revolver, then the follow-up, Younger Than Yesterday, is their Sgt. Pepper.

I'm not looking forward to The Byrd's Beatles for Sale.
