# Album #182: Air - Moon Safari By Air (1998) => https://1001albumsgenerator.com/albums/5dmYtZVJ1bG9RyrZBRrkOA/moon-safari on 1001albumsgenerator I'd love to come in to Moon Safari with fresh ears, but it's just impossible La femme d'argent used to be - could still be - the hold music for the Microsoft XBOX support. I did a quick search to verify if that was true, and couldn't tell. But I'll trust my memory here - as soon as the album started, I could remember being on hold or two hours to this song. And that feeling pervades the album. Background music, existing more to fill silence than to engage. Nearly every song has *something* to like - the bass, a nice guitar riff. But it's always squandered, so consistently that it must be intentional. But that's what was cool back when this came out. This album was everywhere. I've lost patience for that being a good enough reason to call this an album Everyone Must Hear Before They Die. While this album isn't troubling the rating system, I did initially expect that a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ would equate to 'This belongs on what I consider to be a decent subset of the albums', but it's clear that there are many ⭐⭐⭐⭐, some ⭐⭐⭐ and even some ⭐⭐s that are worth a listen, even if I don't care to listen to them again. Silly me, coming up with a rating system that doesn't 100% hold up. But more importantly, silly list for including this album that should be left buried in the past. # Rating ⭐ ______ => / 🏡 Home => ./ 📻 More albums => /about.gmi 🙋 About this project
