# Album #199: Ice Cube - AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted By Ice Cube (1990) => https://1001albumsgenerator.com/albums/0TTt6Qm26MyMKv0EM2BKAa/amerikkkas-most-wanted AmeriKKK'as Most Wanted on 1001albumsgenerator I get that this is meant to be confrontational, misogynistic, and generally offensive. Clearly that's the point that's played with in 'It's a man's world'. But it also rhymes 'thing' with 'ding-a-ling', which I found more off putting than the ham-fisted commentary. Rhythmically, I just don't enjoy Ice Cube's rapping. It's too simple and straightforward, following the beat rigidly. Endangered Species - the first one with a guest - is far more interesting, but then we're back to the relatively by-the-book A Gangsta's Fairytale. Every track with a guest has the same problem, that they're so much better than the tracks that surround them that I'm just left thinking I don't really care for Ice Cube. Reading around, the things people praise this album for just don't work for me. I found the samples to be repetitive, and the skits tedious, the social commentary to be pretty one-note. # Rating ⭐⭐ ______ => / 🏡 Home => ./ 📻 More albums => /about.gmi 🙋 About this project
