The partial Wikipedia quote from The Book made me go and actually read the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die blurb about this one. That's a first. It feels a bit like cheating. Anyway. It ends with:

> SFA would go on to create more polished rounded. "better" albums than this. But for the sheer glee and excitement of hearing a wildly inventive band just hitting their stride, Fuzzy Logic is hard to beat.

I'm approaching a quarter of the way through the list and increasingly the word 'must' in the title feels like a threat. Picture the scene: you're counting down the hours of your life, and each time the album switches over, someone introduces it. "Oh, there's better albums by this band", the voice menaces, "but for the glee of it, here's... Fuzzy Logic".

Psychedelia isn't really my thing, but it also feels like it isn't this albums thing. It meanders through many genres and unexpected left turns in songs, but rarely does it come together. I guess that's the excitement/glee from the quote above.
