Day 16

With the smoke from wildfires keeping us from letting our son (almost two) outside, we have been thinking of indoor activities for him to do. Of course, those aren't easy either living in the COVID era. We took him to the pet store to look at the animals. The store was pretty empty, thankfully. He really liked the goldfish. At dinner we asked him what animals he saw that day. We prompted him if he had seen any fish, at which point he said "fih", and then what color they were, and he replied very clearly, "goldfish." We were awed and very proud of him.
