til: they are selling dos 6.2 and windows 3.0 compatible x86 computers at aliexpress for 200 usd. there’s also windows 95 machines. newly built but with old architecture and bus systems.

i am intrigued to get into non-old retro computing. i really just need a low energy consumption device that can run gemini and irc.

anyone have seen similar devices?

why would you use a x86 retro hardware device for irc and gemini? why not a old Raspberry Pi or similar... maybe olimex board? besides: something like mister (fpga)? · 11 months ago
