so to add a gemini link to my profile I had to use this format:

gemini://gem.xmgz.eu


it did not recognize:

gem.xmgz.eu
gemini:gem.xmgz.eu

I had read somewhere that "//" are actually a HTTP thing. IDK.

gemini:// just specifies the protocol to use and is not specific to http.

there's also gopher:// and spartan:// around these parts. · 5 months ago
