I finally managed to get pygopherd to play nice. It seems that gopher readers
(except the canonical gopher client) do need gophermaps to work. Now I 
understand how this all works, I have opened port 70 on my router again, so 
anyone that is interested can find my little nook. I am happy to have cracked 
it, and in the end (as always) it was less hard than I thought. Let's see where
this all brings us. I am quite taken by the text-only environment. To me it 
feels clean, direct and focused. Much better than the bloated world of HTML and
CSS. I will post my ramblings and thoughts here and we will see whether anyone 
is actually interested in what I have to say. Even if that is not the case, that
is no problem as I do this mainly for myself.
