Confinement is productive
There was time I was addicted to the video LoL and couldn't resit to get my hands off it. But I recently I have a gradual disliking, especially when I get into the splash screen before the match, but my mentality stay consistent during the match once it started. I then realized this could have deeper implication for human behavior.
Confinement has productive effect on human.
As when I immediately regret when I picked a champion and know I have to play a match for another 30-40 minutes, but I total forget that and focus on the actual match once I am in it. This is because MOBA games were designed that players get a hard punishment if they leave the match, it's a difficult decision to to freely focus on something else during the game, it's a confinement.
Another time when I get this feeling is when I work in the office, I feel more focused because I am tied to the task and the other colleages are awared of my existence, I cannot freely do anything like when I'm home.
I maybe if we have a way to trick our brain into thinking we're in a confinement, it'd be much easier to work at home.
