As a middle aged man, I am trying to eat a vegetarian diet and get regular exercise.

I have been into computers since my early teens, and have been using them for hours every day since the mid 80's.

Food and Cooking

I have always loved to cook. Having an interest in proper diet has made cooking that much more enjoyable.

Programming

I have been a hobbyist programmer since the mid-80's, and continue to enjoy it as a creative outlet.

Writing

I enjoy writing at length on subjects I am passionate about. When I'm not perusing and posting on forums I am working on technical documents and references.

Photography

I have been a hobbyist nature photographer since the early days of digital cameras.

I have many activities that I like to do outdoors.

Career

Work

I worked thirty years as a Network Technician (formerly known as a Central Office Technician) for a Fortune Five Hundred company, and a fledgling cellular company that became a leader in wireless communication.

Retirement

I retired at the age of forty nine in 2020, after thirty years of service, so that I can enjoy leisure time while I'm still able.
