and I saw a heart darker than you...

and I screamed at that heart
and I cried on that heart
and I knocked on [the gates of] that heart...

yet the heart had a gate made of steel
and my efforts did naught...

and I saw a whip, hard and long and the hand that held it,
and the hand rose higher and the whip went higher and the whip
coiled and writhed like a serpent...

So there was flesh under the whip
and whip on the flesh...
