Other humans who live in Jone's world.

- Pete: Friends with Jone. Likes to throw the football. His dad knows a bunch of people in Boyner. Jone and Pete sometimes go do jobs together for money. Has a truck he lets Jone borrow.

- Lucy: Jone rolled her trailer down a hill, caught it on fire, and crushed it beneath a blue dragon he shot out of the sky.

- Del: Owns a house with a bunch of vans out back. Got kicked by a centaur. Del and Jone like to play checkers in the woods.

- Madison and Donnie: Used to live in the unit a few doors up from Jone but left for the north.

- Jone's dad: Mechanically inclined. One arm. Jone helps him out sometimes and likes to ramble around his property.

- Terg? Fell from a ridge out in the woods, back before the first centaurs appeared

- The Dillers: neighbors of Jone. Have a toddler

- Hat: Used to have a little one-room library before the centaurs came and messed it up. Has a granddaughter who went missing when the new ogre came to live up on the hill. Has a daughter named Ellie, whose nephew is missing.

- Ellie: Hat's daughter.

- Pierce: has a barn in Boyner that is full of sick gnomes

- Leanne: super smart kid who has a computer, uses emacs, and writes elisp
