5 Bitreichcon 2017 is over and was successfull. There have been five phys‐ |
|
|
|
6 ical attendees and four over the streaming setup. A new way of confer‐ |
|
|
|
7 encing was tried out, where through compressing the information into its |
|
|
|
8 most useful form was well received by all listeners. |
|
|
|

|
|

13 You can hear Christoph talking about the Bitreich manifest and why we |
|
|

14 are doing all of this here. Next up is Manu talking about his thoughts |
|
|
|
15 on efficient wikipedia information retrievel. Christoph then shows the |
|
|
|
16 gopher lawn project, hosted here at bitreich.org. The end is a format |
|
|
|
17 for future bitreich conferences of some panel discussion, where everyone |
|
|
|
18 (from IRC too!) can point out his/her opinion to form a consent in the |
|
|
|
19 community. We will experiment further with more formats. |

21 The reason for this late posting is the conference photo. We could first |
|
|
|
22 release it on 1st of April [2]. All attendees are having much fun. |

24 Bitreichcon 2018 will happen in Rodez, South France, in the middle of the end |
