It's been a long time since I've thought about the QEC. One of the new lab assistants was getting used to the system
and came across it today. We looked over it together for a few minutes and it's amazing how distant and strange
everything is. It really reminds you how old and isolated Port Novis feels. We were one of the first outposts among
the stars, but now? Sometimes it feels like we're the last.
