Tandy Deskmate was an MS-DOS shell program created and sold by the Tandy |
|
|
|
Corporation from the early 1980s to the mid-1990s. It included productivity |
|
|
|
software, dial-up networking, music and drawing programs. Written in C and |
|
|
|
assembler, it was very fast and very stable. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
I still use Deskmate to this day, as a distraction-free environment in a |
|
|
|
couple of PCs and VMs. |
