Ian over at gopher.icu [0] has announced a new gopher search index
[1], he calls it Quarry [2]. Always nice to see more work on the
gopher search front. The quality of results seems pretty good, and
the facility for automatically submitting gopher URIs to be
(re-)indexed is very cool.
The only potential drawback I can see is that there is no pagination
of the results, so for some queries the results page will be quite
large (by gopher standards, anyway). I say 'potential', because if
you are grabbing search results programmatically, this is actually
quite useful.
