|Yup 👍. My oldest sister taught me that when my oldest nephew |
|
|
|
|started walking. If they fall and they obviously have not broken |
|
|
|
|anything then just ask, with a smile "what did you do that for?" |

|Many times crying is a learned reaction. Parents freak out at every |
|
|
|
|little thing kid freaks out at every little thing. If you dont react |
|
|
|
|they learn to not freak out and if they really are hurt they will |
|
|
|
|still let you know due to the involuntary reaction to real pain. |
|
|

|months ago, he said his arm was broken, and he couldn't do |
|

|anything because he was pushed by his sister after being a jerk. |

|When I was 7 or 8, I got my first really good RC car. Looked like a |
|
|
|
|rally Dune buggy kind of deal with big knobby tires in the back. I'd |
|
|
|
|fishtail it around in the dirt throwing up a little rooster tail, hours |
|
|
|
|of fun. Well, I, for some unknown reason, wanted to get a closer look |
|
|
|
|at the drit coming off the back tires. I get into position kneeling on |
|
|
|
|the ground, holding the rear tires a few inches off the ground and gun |
|
|
|
|the engine. I then bend down nice and close and drop the car. The stream |
|
|
|
|of dirt positively blasts my eyes to the point that I couldn't see well |
|
|
|
|for 3 days and my eyes just constantly watering and lids feeling all |
|
|
|
|scratchy. I guess this is a "curiosity killed the cat" kinda story, but |
|
|
|
|it did little to curb my quest for seeing how things work. Next time: |
|
|
|
|when I accidentally stapled my thumbs together seeing how that works. |
