Intensify gopher-over-tor usage |
=============================== |
These days it's common practice to post "plain" gopher links (like |
gopher://kroovy.de). But within the scope of our Gopher Onion |
Initiative, we should intensify the use of gopher://*.onion URIs. |
Programs like Evil_Bob's paste-service[1] can easily changed to produce |
*.onion URIs. |
Of course there might be some cases, in which it's not that easy to |
access the tor network. For example if you're in a restricted network, |
or aren't able to use your own computer. |
Also we will have to think about how to handle .onion URIs when using a |
gopherproxy: |
Even if the gopherproxy would be an onion-service we would break the |
end-to-end encryption which a user might not expect. |
Still I think the default should become a .onion link. |
