Not that it makes a big difference, but Trump's team just asked for a 30-day extension to file their brief at the 11th Circuit in the appeal of Judge Cannon's dismissal of the Mar-a-Lago case. FWIW, I think a lot of the writing about this new SCOTUS term as not having much or being low-key is wrong. We are seeing this on several fronts, and it's something I've been writing about since July. It's very concerning, in part because it allows the very politicized conservative majority to hold back now — and then assert itself how it wants, regardless of what happens in November. |
