Palm Screen Backlight

I do not use backlight for screens of the Palm III/Pilot devices. It is
useful only on absolute dark (and even then it does not make the screen
easy to read).

The Tungsten W  with its color screen has backlight  which makes screen
readable in  bad light  conditions and  in darkness,  too. But  in good
light  conditions (on  direct  sunlight or  under a  good  lamp) it  is
usually better to turn the backlight OFF.  So for most of time I use it
in the same way as I use the older III models...
