Another partial  victory. I  re-connected my ODROID,  added a  USB WiFi
(the TP-Link  TK-WN725N) so now  there is  working NTP, git  and system
updates (www/gopher/e-mail, too).

I have had to rotate the LCD  to landscape, which is not ideal. But now
the LCD image is green! I have  to investigate if the problem is caused
by DVI-HDMI  adapter or the cable  (or software issue). The  LCD itself
should be OK because service menus work normally.

Oh, I initially thought than it should be an easy process...
