So, the blog... 

At best it's a raw and honest real-time processing of ~15 years as it happened.
At its worst, it's somewhere between inscrutible and pretentious. I'm not
giving up on it, but I'm trying something different: I need a place to be
very direct.

I'm going to try that here.
