"Radiance" Location

"Radiance" is one of the pre-installed wallpaper images that comes
with Windows XP. It is a telescopic photograph of the Moon's surface
showing craters, mountains, and valleys ringing a vast gray plain
bisected by the terminator between day and night.

Long fascintated by the image, I have tried to identify its location
on the lunar surface. I believe it is a photograph of Mare Imbrium
(the Man in the Moon's right eye) taken during the Moon's last
quarter. Lunar north is on the left. The prominent crater to the
upper-left of center is Plato.
