In this repository, I am exploring |
|
|
|
building a synth while learning pd. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
I've mostly programmed substractive synth |
|
|
|
and mostly learned on the mopho form DSI. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The mopho has the same architecture as the |
|
|
|
prophet. Once you've learned that |
|
|
|
architecture, you can move around more |
|
|
|
DSI (dave smith instrument) synth. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The mopho is composed of 2 oscilator, |
|
|
|
which can be: sawtooth, triangle, square or |
|
|
|
phase (?) with 3 adsr envelope, one for |
|
|
|
the filter (low pass filter 4 pole resonant) |
|
|
|
one for the amplitude and one assignale. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Each oscilator have a a secondary sub |
|
|
|
oscilator, one otave and two octave lower |
|
|
|
if I remember correctly. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1 noise source, one external audio source |
|
|
|
4 lfo assignable to any value, 4 mod, |
|
|
|
4 sequencer (16 steps) and an audio fm'ish |
|
|
|
dial that use the first osc to modify the |
|
|
|
secondary osc. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
I won't be reproducing this exactly, but |
|
|
|
I'll try to program all the elements used |
|
|
|
for this. I also want to explore FM synthesis |
|
|
|
as it's a lot easier to add as many OSC as |
|
|
|
needed. As well as granular synthesis, |
|
|
|
although I'm really satified with using |
|
|
|
Frontieres for this at the moment. |
